Food for thought: November: A meditation
According to Miriam Webster Resiliency is an ability to recover from or adjust easily to adversity or change. We have had to adjust to so much in the last year and we continue to do so. This month we would like to offer some inspiration, encouragement and support to our community to help us to recover, adjust. bounce back, to continue!
We offer the brilliant words of Maya Angelou: Excerpts from her poem “ CONTINUE’
My wish for you is that you Continue.
Continue to be who and how you are. To astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness.
Continue to remind people that each is as good as the other, that no one is above or beneath you
Continue to let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer, and let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good
Continue to dare to love deeply and risk everything for the good thing
And by doing so you and your work will be able to continue Eternally
And also, this verse from Scripture: Philippians 4:19
